Andrea Greenberg has always experienced life through the eyes of a visual artist. From a young age, she was captivated by the tangible world—drawn to the origins of objects, the motives behind human behavior, and the beauty found in both natural and constructed environments. Rather than react, she chose to observe, research, and respond—a practice that continues to inform her art and life.
Her insatiable curiosity became a gift, inspiring her to explore all disciplines and find meaning through inquiry, reflection, and creative experimentation. Andrea credits her career in teaching, her personal artistic journey, and her ongoing exploration of the creative process to a deep and evolving spiritual enlightenment.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, majoring in Fine Arts and minoring in Art Education, as well as a Master of Science in Education from CUNY Queens College. She also earned a certificate from the New York School of Interior Design, deepening her understanding of space and aesthetics.
Her commitment to cultural exploration and arts education has earned her national and international recognition.
A multidisciplinary artist, Andrea works across a variety of media. Her inspiration comes from the world around her—both nature and human-made environments. She draws influence from master artists, contemporary works, dance, music, theatre, interior and exterior design, and most importantly, her own vivid imagination.Andrea has practiced in multiple genres of painting and is particularly drawn to the study of utilitarian objects and manmade art created throughout history. The joy of her work is rooted not just in the finished product but in the discovery that happens during the creative process itself.
Andrea believes that creativity is not just a talent—it is a practice, a process, and a pathway to self-awareness. Her work, whether in the classroom or the studio, is guided by a deep reverence for observation, a respect for the unknown, and an unwavering belief that art can be a bridge to understanding ourselves and others.
